OUR PHILOSOPHY 

We offer NO-GI jiu jitsu accessable to all everyone. We take great pride  providing  a welcoming environment where everyone can come to learn this great martial art.

Our coaching team is the most qualified in the Waikato. Our coaches are all multiple time national champions who are still actively competing. Ensuring that you are learning  effective jiu jitsu for all situations. Our coaches hold a range of University Sport Science degrees, Personal training certificates and Teaching qualification. When combined with the 30+ collective years of training and coaching you can rest assured that your training is in good hands.

We started Riverside jiu jitsu with the intention to provide modern effective jiu jitsu in fun and engaging fashion. We have a focus on working through precise technical drilling, contextual games, positional sparing and live rolling. We believe blending these together will lead to the best possible outcomes for our members.
